Section 105 Entry 0001. Date: 2004 April 29 Thursday.
(diary) (previous) (top) (bottom) (next) (topics) (contents) And of course other things have been happening besides the birth of my daughter. For example, in an undisclosed location in a remote area of Japan, I was able to take a genuine UFO photo. |

|
In the same general area I was able to take photographs of debris, an artefact, the decayed corpse of a quasi-humanoid lifeform and the cryptic organic remains of some entirely unidentifiable creature. I'm not going to display the "organic remains" photo (some people might think it just too horrific) but the other photos are shown below. These authentic photographs may suggest to you the existence of intelligent life somewhere, if not on the TV show you happen to be watching right now:-

All genuine photos. Okay, okay - I admit I tweaked the colors a bit in the corpse photo. But just to improve the aesthetics. There's nothing wrong with a little bit of false color, is there? (After all, Mars would be pretty drab without it.)
In other news, the zenvirus.com / hughcook.com newsletter number four is going out a couple of days early. It's scheduled to be sent on May 1st but I'm planning to send it out today Thursday 29 April, which is a public holiday here in Japan, as I'm going to be REALLY busy at the start of May. The newsletter now has a name: CREATIVE FRACTION. Newsletter number four contains a little bit of website news, a short SF / fantasy story called JORGELVACE, the Oolong Morblock fantasy story FULFILLABLE WISHES, some poetry under the heading "Poetry in Fragments" and, under the heading SEARCH FRACTION, a collection of search terms (interesting, amusing or out-and-out baffling) that people used to find the zenvirus.com website. (The one I like best is "levitational hedgehog" - but, regrettably, there's nothing about levitational hedgehogs on the site.) |
